Spring Music Series - Gladius
Come to the library for an electrifying flamenco guitar performance by Gladius. Raised in Atlanta, Georgia, pupiled by Andrés Segovia’s protégé, and driven to obsession by Eddie Van Halen—Gladius is an award-winning composer and "accomplished classical/flamenco style guitarist" who soulfully “shreds on the electric" (Phil Keaggy), sharing the bill with Grammy winners and mesmerizing audiences nationwide with his electrifying live act since 2016. Becoming Gwinnett County Georgia's 1st ever recipient of the Gwinnett Superstar award in 2022, and releasing the infectiously catchy Air to critical acclaim in 2023, Gladius shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
The Spring Concert Series hosted by the 21st Century Foundation, will run select Sundays from March 10 through May 19 with performances in the Community Meeting Room. Performances will run for one hour and will be held at 3PM.
The concert series features musicians performing a range of genres. For more information visit the library's events calendar. This series is generously funded by the Westwood Public Library's 21st Century Fund.
