SUMMARY:Poetry Reading with Richard Blanco (Grades 2-5)
DESCRIPTION:Children in grades 2-5 and their caregivers are invited to hear 
 acclaimed poet Richard Blanco\, the first Latino poet to read at a 
 Presidential Inauguration\, talk about growing up as a Cuban-American child 
 in Miami and read his poems (in English and Spanish). A book sale and 
 signing will take place after the reading. \n\n Adults must be accompanying 
 a child in grade 2-5 to this event and must register their names and the 
 number of children they will bring .\n\nThis program is presented by 
 Westwood Poet Laureate Lynne Viti and Youth Poet Laureate Lucie 
 Sechler.\n\nFunded in part by Mass.Cultural Council and the Westwood Public 
 Library's 21st Century Fund
