During the month of March, Westwood Artists will be participating in their annual gallery exhibit at the Westwood Public Library. There will be an artists' reception on Wednesday, March 4th from 5:30-6:30pm in the gallery. Come and meet the artists and the poets of Westwood!

There are 11 artists who will display their work. This year's participants are watercolorists Carol Ahearn, Elidi Chan, and Andrew Jonic; watercolor & acrylic painter Cynthia Senerchia; watercolor & pastel painter Claire Henry; oil painter Maureen Obey; photographers Karen Flowers Cagan, Beth Swinning, and Melanie Guerra; ceramic artist Lisa WB Walker; and felted wreath maker Betsy Husted.

The show will feature a collection of Ekphrastic Poems - verses written by local poets specifically in response to the piece's in this year's exhibit. This creative dialogue between the writers and the visual artists offers visitors a unique, multi-sensory experience that highlights the depth of Westwood's literary and artistic talent.
