Jeff Denman will be discussing his book John Quincy Adams, Reluctant Abolitionist which approaches the legacy of John Quincy Adams through the lens of slavery. Denman offers a fresh and nuanced view of one of the most well-known politicians (and one of the most infamous curmudgeons) in American History. Registration is required.
